Our 8th Annual York Women’s Event was held Tuesday, June 7, 2016 (11:30 am – 1:00 pm) at the Country Club of York.

Dr. Sharon Melnick is a leading authority on women’s leadership, business psychology, and stress resilience. Her practical tools are informed by ten years of research at Harvard Medical School and field tested by over 15,000 training participants. A sought-after speaker, she has worked with organizations which include over 25 of the Fortune 500 companies.

Author of the acclaimed book Success under Stress and the newly released Confidence When It Counts, Dr. Melnick has the spirit of a teacher and has contributed her advice to Forbes.com, Fox News, Business Insider, Huffington Post, CBS, Natural Health Magazine, USAToday.com, AmexOPEN, and Smart Briefs. She’s even presented at the White House!

Discover Your Unique Financial Personality

Our 1st Annual Hanover Women’s Event was held Thursday, May 5, 2015 (11:30 am – 1:00 pm) at the Hanover Country Club.

Our keynote speaker was Holly Buchanan, Author, Speaker and Women’s Financial Marketing Consultant. Holly has spent years researching the differences in how men and women make decisions. She explained the brain differences between genders and defined four distinct financial personality types in women.

Carolyn Schaefer, Managing Director of Specialized Banking with York Traditions Bank, reviewed how to easily determine your financial personality using the Financial Personality Indicator. She discussed how to understand your relationship with money and achieve a more enriched life.

Brenda Wintermyer is a well-known area Artist, Teacher, and Mentor. Using only two words for direction – feminine and strong – Brenda created the colorful image used in the Her Traditions logo. She shared the meaning and passion behind her creation.

Your Place at the Table: Negotiating for Yourself

Research shows that women are excellent at negotiating on behalf of others, yet fall short when it comes to negotiating for themselves. And even in today’s world, women are still two to three times less likely than men to ask for what they want and need – at work or at home.

Our keynote speaker was Carol Frohlinger, co-author of Her Place at the Table and Nice Girls Just Don’t Get It. Ms. Frohlinger is an internationally renowned speaker on the ways women can negotiate with authenticity to achieve their maximum personal and professional potential. She has appeared on TV, including the Today Show. Her advice has been featured by CBS MoneyWatch, NPR and The New York Times, as well as in numerous professional journals.


Tracey Jones

Our 6th Annual Women’s Event took place on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 (11:30 am – 1:00 pm) at the Country Club of York.

The Keynote speaker was Tracey C. Jones. Ms. Jones is an Air Force Academy graduate, served as an officer during the First Gulf War, and has held roles with Fortune 500 companies. In 2009, Tracey returned to Central PA to become President of Tremendous Life Books. Tracey’s father and founder of the company, Charlie “Tremendous” Jones, encouraged others to live a tremendous life by reading great books and meeting great people along the way.Tracey continues his legacy with her motivational, inspirational talks.

Tracey is also the human to three rescue dogs who have themselves penned books teaching leadership lessons. Ruby Red, her Australian Shepherd, accompanied Tracey to share her experiences in going from “broken and muzzled” to CEO (Chief Excitement Officer) of Tremendous Life Books.
