Traditions Bank announces the addition of well-known York area professional and community leader, Michael H. Hady III.

A native of Meyersdale, PA, Mr. Hady obtained his Business degree from Shippensburg University and immediately began working in the healthcare administration field. He moved to York in 1985 to take a position with Memorial Hospital. From 1994 to 1999, Hady founded and was Executive Director of Healthy York County Coalition through York Hospital (now Wellspan Health). He returned to Memorial Hospital in 2000, where he concluded his healthcare career as VP of Business Development in 2013.

Throughout 2014, Mr. Hady served as a project management consultant for Traditions Bank during the development, design, construction and recent opening of their Eisenhower Drive, Hanover branch. Michael has agreed to move from a consulting role to the permanent position of Business Development Partner, effective immediately.

Traditions Bank Chairman, President & CEO, Mike Kochenour notes, “We feel very fortunate to have Michael become a part of our organization. He is fully aligned and invested in our Core Values. With his rich background in the healthcare field, he will bring a unique perspective to our business, along with his vast network of relationships, stellar reputation of service excellence, and extraordinary commitment to teamwork. Michael will play a key role in our strategic growth in 2015 and well into the future.”

“In my role as consultant over the past year, I have had the opportunity to witness the amazing culture that has been built at Traditions Bank,” said Michael Hady. “It’s a culture of camaraderie and support of each other, and a laser focus on customer relationships which many other organizations have lost. I feel privileged to join a company with such a deep commitment to their Core Values and to the York Community, which is near and dear to my heart.”

Throughout his nearly three decades in York, Mr. Hady has been, and continues to be, an outstanding volunteer leader to many area initiatives and boards, including serving as Chair of Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center, United Way of York County, Leadership York, ACCESS-York, and the Hahn Home Foundation. Currently, he serves on the boards of York County Community Foundation, American Red Cross-York County Chapter, and York County Honors Choirs.

Michael and his wife, Melanie, reside in York. They have two daughters — Dr. Jillian Hady Senner and Meredith Hady.
