A message to our customers regarding Coronavirus

To our valued customers,

In response to Governor Wolf’s March 19 emergency order, we want to assure you that banks are considered essential businesses and that we remain available to serve you. To do our part to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we are taking precautions to avoid close contact, and we continue to limit transactions to Drive-Thru access only.



Our lobby service at all locations, including our Administrative Headquarters, are temporarily unavailable; however, we are fully staffed and ready to meet your needs via Drive-Thru and by speaking with your branch representative or relationship manager via telephone during normal business hours.

Because our Downtown York location does not have Drive-Thru capabilities, we will temporarily close the North George Street branch. Downtown customers can continue to visit any of our other Drive-Thru locations Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-12 noon.

Our Traditions Mortgage loan office in Camp Hill is also closed to visitors at this time.

Remember, you can conduct many of your transactions 24 hours a day via online and mobile banking, ATM, or telephone banking.

If you have a circumstance which would require emergency access to a branch, please contact that location to determine the best option for the situation.

We recognize the potential impact of Coronavirus on our customers and community, and we are prepared to be responsive to meeting the needs of those affected. If you have been directly impacted by COVID-19 and have special financial needs, please contact your nearest branch, call our Customer Care line at 717-747-2600 (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.), or email

As part of our organization’s business continuity plan, we have a pandemic preparedness plan in place and are following the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and PA Department of Health best practices in an effort to prevent the spread of Coronavirus and the flu. These tips are posted in each of our locations as a reminder to our associates and customers to follow these guidelines and use social distancing until this situation subsides. In addition, our staff is increasing the frequency of disinfecting public spaces and frequently-touched surfaces.

If you are uncomfortable visiting a branch, please consider using our drive-through or conducting your transactions electronically.

Personal Customers

  • Free online banking and mobile banking, including mobile deposit, are options for those who are uncomfortable entering our lobbies.
  • If you are not yet set up with online or mobile banking services and would like more information, contact Customer Care at 717-747-2600.
  • Need to open an account? Personal deposit account applications can now be made online.

Business Customers

  • Business online banking, mobile banking, and remote deposit services are available.
  • If you are not yet set up with online banking, mobile banking, or remote deposit and would like more information, please contact your Relationship Manager or local branch.

Mortgage Customers

  • Residential mortgage applications can be made online and much of the process can be done via telephone with one of our local Mortgage Partners.

As always, please be aware of potential scams that could occur as a result of this situation. Remember, York Traditions Bank will never call or email and ask for your PIN number or online banking password. Also, be aware of attachments or links within emails or texts and use caution before clicking or opening.
