Prancing Pig – St. Charles Way

The Prancing Pig is independently owned and operated by York natives Amanda & Douglas Spangler. They are a contemporary “walk in” paint-your-own-pottery studio. They offer special events monthly and invite you to stop by their studio which offers:

  • Pottery to paint
  • Warm glass fusing
  • Board art
  • Canvas kids art

People of all ages can enjoy making a “one of a kind” project. Their staff will help you design and execute your project so it will be ready for pickup in about a week. Note: Turnaround time for glass projects is at least two weeks. More information is available on their website.

Strinestown Community Fire Company – Susquehanna Trail

Strinestown Community Fire Company is dedicated to serving the residents, businesses and visitors of Conewago Township and the neighboring communities. They provide fire suppression services as well as fire education programs and fire safety information.

Their mission is:

  • To educate and provide information to their community on fire prevention, safety and disaster emergencies.
  • To extend goodwill in their community and promote a spirit of helping others without expecting anything in return.
  • To promote harmony and goodwill in their own ranks in order for their members to serve their community willingly.

Throughout her time as a fashion blogger at her blog Mommy in Heels, she has been able to develop a knack for finding fashionable yet wallet friendly clothing! Realizing there is a growing market for online boutiques, Rebecca decided to take the plunge and make her mark in the e-commerce world!

The name Elizabeth & West pays homage to two important places in Rebecca’s life – Elizabethtown College, where she met the love of her life and forged many friendships, and West Loop, the neighborhood where she spent the first 22 years of her life and where her parents still reside. New Hope Ministries is a Christian social service agency that shows the love and hope of Christ by serving their neighbors in times of need and supporting their efforts towards stability.
