FDIC INSURANCE

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS -

All funds in a “noninterest-bearing transaction account” are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules. The term “noninterest-bearing transaction account” includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts, and money-market deposit accounts. For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.

Women's Spotlight: Sponsorship & Events

York Traditions Bank is proud to support community resources, seminars, and events that are dedicated to the advancement of professional women in York County.

Upcoming Event

On June 9, 2011 we will be holding a special Women's Lunch & Seminar titled "Healthier. Wealthier. Wiser" at the Susan P. Byrnes Health Education Center.  We realize a successful life is a well-balanced life, so our event will have a dual focus on both financial and physical well-being.  Arthur Sheer - Chairman, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Manhattan-based Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc. - will share his extensive investment wisdom. And nationally recognized speaker and author Chris Johnson of ontarget living™ will give tips for living a life in balance, with energy and vitality.  As a professional woman, if you would like to be added to our mailing list for this and future events, please email your name, title, company name, address, and telephone number to sbecker@yorktraditionsbank.com and put "Women's Mailing List" in the subject line.
